16 Weeks/240 Hours

1) 40 hr OSHA Hazardous Waste Site Operations

2) OSHA Confined Space 

3) OSHA Competent Person

4) Equipment Load and Tie-down for Transport

5) OSHA Supervisor  

6) Forklift Safety 

7) Truck Driver License Class “A” or “B” or Hostler Driver (HEOD 155 includes passenger endorsement)

8) Dump Truck Driver 

9) Heavy Equipment Operator Case® Backhoe (includes pipe finding/excavation training) 

10) Bobcat® Skid Steer (Includes Backhoe, Forklift & 4-in-1 Bucket attachment change-out) 

11) Case® Skip Loader

12) Case® Skip Loader Gannon

Class “A” Driver’s License with endorsements helps in obtaining the best entry level job. Most operator drivers start their entry level jobs as full time maintenance techs or drivers who fill in as heavy equipment operators when somebody is sick, or on vacation.

CIT offers classes in many disciplines including CDL Commercial Truck Driving Level "A", Tow Truck Operator, Bus Driver Passenger Endorsement, numerous Heavy Equipment classes including Swing Cab Crane or Boom Truck Crane Certifications as well as Waste Water Management and various Instrument Calibration classes. Instrument Technology Process Control was Green before Green was cool. These certifications allow you to work anywhere in the world with these job skills.
